As I promised here's the first crochet piece that my brother Saldy made. He's not the person on the picture but my friend Sandy. :) Next time I'll convince him to wear his own crochet project.
I couldn't be prouder when I first saw this bonnet. It was an achievement for me and for him as well. He just learn the stitches by watching me, from there he designed his own. :) I hope you understand that I made the pattern after he finish the bonnet.
This bonnet is very easy to follow. You can finish it just in time for Father's day. Alright, let's start hooking!
Materials Used:
Hook 5.00mm
Red Heart Super Saver in Grey Heather
Blunt Needle
Finished Sized: 11in circumference
Stitch Used: (US Term)
Chain = ch
Slip Stitch = sl st
Single Crochet = sc
Half Double Crochet = hdc
Double Crochet = dc
Front Post Half Double Crochet = FPhdc
Back Post Half Double Crochet = BPhdc
Pattern Note: Chain 2 at the beginning of each round is not counted as stitch
Begin with magic loop.
R1. Ch 2, 8 dc in loop, sl st in top of ch 2. (8)
R2. Ch 2, 2 dc in next st around, sl st in top of ch 2. (16)
R3. Ch 2, *dc in next st, 2 dc in next st* around, sl st in top of ch 2. (24)
R4. Ch 2, *dc in next 2 st, 2 dc in next st* around, sl st in top of ch 2. (32)
R5. Ch 2, *dc in next 3 st, 2 dc in next st* around, sl st in top of ch 2. (40)
R6. Ch 2, *dc in next 4 st, 2 dc in next st* around, sl st in top of ch 2. (48)
R7. Ch 2, *dc in next 5 st, 2 dc in next st* around, sl st in top of ch 2. (56)

R16-R19. Repeat R15
R20. ch 1, sc in same st, sc in next st, around. Cut the yarn. Fasten off.
